Internet on and off so I am shipping boxes today !
I am Happy to announce the Sun in out this morning

SUNSHINE
This is one of the Rivers in Oklahoma that runs into our lake
and it is Rushing and Rising
Our Lake that was below normal for the past few years
is well above Normal now?
CRAZY
The Mesonet reading says one of the towns close to us
*since apparently they do not read that for us?*
has had almost 12 inches of rainfall in 10 days !!
Trust me when I say it is noticeable
everything is saturated around here :)
They are saying it will be Sunny here today and tomorrow
with rain back in the forecast by Wednesday *frown*
Yes I am ready for rain to stay away for awhile
But come summer time everyone will be wishing for some
Have a great Week
Brenda
Hang in there! We just got back from visiting family in Oklahoma and Texas. We dodged hailstorms, tornadoes and floods. We got stranded in Seagraves, Texas one night last week while visiting my brother - it hailed and rained 4 inches in an hour. The town was shut down! No one could leave and we could not get back to our hotel in another town. We were farmed out to friends and relatives and finally made it out barely the next morning just because my brother was able to point us through the shallowest part of the flooded road! Where my parents used to live -- the drought must be at least 15 years old. I hope these rains help all of you, if they don't kill you in the process!
ReplyDeleteWOW...what a lot of rain! Too bad we can't send the rain to other parts of the USA! California is sure in trouble.

ReplyDeleteI know you've had terrible storms this week. I hope you are doing OK my friend. I did a post showing the beautiful things I won in the giveaway. I hope you have a chance to stop by...lots of good comments, too! Sweet hugs, Diane
