What a Crazy time for me
I have had MAJOR internet issues, it all began with the weather
*And YES there is a Giveaway at the bottom of this post*
I abused my broadband usage and had to make that call to get extra
Only then it did not work, due to more weather
*how did I abuse it? watching the live radar during storms!*
You see we are Flooded here
(well the lake is we are on high ground)
(well the lake is we are on high ground)
High enough it won't reach us, but regardless it is a mess
There are trees in the top of this photo that are normally where
you would park at to fish!
We have had over a foot of a rain since the first of May
And more is on the way?
Lake Texoma is a HUGE lake and it is amazing at just how much water
there is, Marina's, boat ramps, Camp grounds all flooded
Memorial day weekend will not be a good Holiday for those
coming to the lake, and apparently by the 4th of July
it will still not be back to normal enough for business's to be open
maybe some but not all, the clean up will take a long time
from this flood !
I apologize for shipping orders late, could not get online to
print labels, it was a mess for me!
So for this month I will giveaway an Americana Prairie Doll

Flooding has the be one of the worst things to go through. Glad you are on a hill. It still has effected you and so many. Here we have a lake and resort area quite the opposite. The dam is in danger of breaking and flooding out many homes and endangering lives. They had to lower the lake. So many people are upset and worried. I hope things return to normal soon. I know that takes a long time.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe from the flooding. I've experienced a minor flood and that was scary enough. Hope things get better soon.

Wow! My sister lives in Northern Oklahoma. Her flooding wasn't as bad, but she works in OKC. It is mindblowing how much water there is! Your picture of the lake is beautiful, although all of that water is terrifying. Be safe, friend! I shared your giveaway on: Pintrest, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and a blog post. Thank you for being so generous and thoughtful even with so much going on! Blessings, Heather
