They can go back SOUTH!!

As most of you know I live at Lake Texoma

This is a Big Lake covering lots of miles
with Texas on one side and Oklahoma on the other
Well on the radio and the news today they are sharing
something I prefer not to know about UGH!!!!!!!

Yes they have sited some gators some up to 13 feet long OMG
*Vicky* if you read this I am sending these back to Florida LOL
*Diane* Love my card I got it today, thank you, you may not want to
go fishing with me now!
I was so excited about going swimming since we couldn't last year
Well now I am not so sure LOL

this picture was taken just down the road, supposedly.
*we are not that far from Washita Point*

I may have to view the sunsets a little further away from the shore line now

  1. We may have to go fishin' for that gator, girlfriend! We could get our pictures in the paper! lol But seriously, when we saw big gators in Florida....we saw swimmers not far away! I don't think I'm that brave though! Glad you liked your card! Hugs!

  3. OMG I am soooo glad I live in Michigan. Keep those gators away...and don't go in the water...they can stay under water for an hour. Take care, Janice

  4. I know I wouldn't be going swimming! Fishing maybe but it would have to be from the back of a truck or off a pier so they couldn't sneek up on me.lol

  5. I am now a lot happier in IL than I was yesterday. I don't like gators or rattlesnakes. Looks like IL will be home sweet home for me. You better not go swimming in that lake...maybe there is a nice swimming pool not far away :)

  6. I agree I wouldn't want a gator chewing on a limb.

  10. They really don't attack humans much but I surely wouldn't want to chance it.Shelby and Rango would be a yummy dinner.I'm sure if it's in the news the trappers will be down to catch them and put them were they need to be.

  11. Oh my, that sounds very scary. Keep your eyes peeled and don't go swimming. Hopefully someone will trap and relocate them.
    Stay safe

  12. Little 'buggers' will find anywhere that's wet! They're leaving Florida 'cause we're not getting any rain! Gators get a bad rep because of people messing with them. They're just as scared of you as you are of them. Swim away during daylight hours and avoid the grassy banks. I would keep the dogs out though as they tend to be of the appetizer variety!

  13. I don't know what your gators are like. In Australia, we have fresh water crocodiles and the don't eat humans, then we have salt water ones and the love humans.... I hope yours are the sort that would spit you out if they had a taste.

  14. I read an article about gators going up north from North Carolina to Virginia. So I assume they are all looking for a new habitat up north.

If I were you, I'd move to Belgium ;-). We don't have scary animals or severe weather. I'm thinking very hard now, but I can't come up with a single scary animal. We have spiders, some snakes in the south of the country, but they're all very small and harmless. So we're very spoiled. My kids yell when they see spiders that have the size of a pin (like in 'pin cushion') and they run away when they see a bee or wasp.

  15. Eeeeewwwww.....That's close enough for me - I might have to move to Belgium! (Hey - they have the BEST chocolate - and chocolate molds!) ;o) Seriously - I'm not a huge fan of large, over-sized, reptilian things.....gators count - as do snakes..... Stay safe - and ship 'em back to Vicky. Hugs ~ Robin
