things are still under water around here, most generally during
this entire week we hear many fireworks
Our local firework show has been canceled this year
The Water has really receded but pavilions are still under water
at campgrounds. Some boat ramps are open but they are further
away from this area !
The Big Bridge is open you can see under it now
Only the Yellow iron top bridge I have shared before is
still under water ?
Marina's still not open
It will be a quiet year at the Lake
We see campers coming in and going towards
campgrounds they can not get into?
Fishing is good
Hubby and my son caught a few Catfish on Limb lines
this past weekend, one of them had a squirrel in it's belly?
Flooding affects so much wildlife it is sad
I am sitting here watching a deer out my window
she has been coming around for about a week now
forgot to mention in the previous post I have a giveaway
Such a beautiful pictures, very nice park...blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteOh my this weather has been something else this Spring and now into Summer. Hopefully the rain has slacked up for the summer. Hope you are doing well and yes, I am already into the fall season in my craft room too. Love the pumpkin man. Heading over to face book. Wishing you a happy 4th even though it will be quiet for you with no fireworks.

So sad that so many families will not be camping and celebrating as usual. Take care, I am preparing for fall shows as well.
ReplyDeleteThat is a shame, but one of the bad things about living near lakes and rivers during a bad rainy season. I hope the rains recede soon, I am sure the businesses will be happy when people start coming again.

For a minute I thought you were going to say not much camping because the lakes are dry. That is what is happening here, with such low water levels. Amazing to see buildings under water, and a bridge barely above water, and the poor confused deer you mention.
ReplyDeleteWow, so much water!!
