So Happy in these wee hours of the morning

Yes I live in the central part of the USA
yes it is only 4:20 as I am starting this post *sigh*

what is on my mind, well first off I am counting my blessings
For God has answered a prayer for me
something I will not disclose on my blog for now
But just feeling a relief from the past few days!

So when things seem impossible and overwhelming
don't give up on the Good Lord to answer your prayers
sometimes there are reasons for the small wait you may
have to go through, but have faith that the right thing will happen

Now I have a subject I am not happy about
And I have seen others post about this lately

I have two boxes missing of items I have purchased
yes they are still lingering out there somewhere???
and worse then that I have a store owner that notified me
this morning that her last box had not made it to her shop??

Ok I can handle loosing something I had bought but
come on don't do that *GRIN*

sure enough the box is missing in action, probably flew
somewhere it did not belong?
my mail carrier and I spoke today when she picked up
packages, the other night hubby took me to the cafe in the
small town we live in, when we left town to come back home
it was after 7:00 PM and we passed our mail carrier
going back to town, yes she was just finishing up her route

Apparently they have not hired extra holiday help at the post office
this year, she told me today that she is keeping long long hours
and the poor gal looks smooth worn out
I believe Santa shall be extra kind to her this year when
he gives her a gift!!
She is so good to me, she has to get off the beaten path
my mail box is a down the road, so when she has a
pick up for me, she has to make that special extra jot off of her route
to come to my house

And she always stops to pet my Schnauzer's *smile*
of course that is the highlight of their day, they get so
excited when they see her pull in the driveway
they have to go out to meet her at the gate :o)

another customer's photo of her Elf arrival
I have shipped three off the past couple of days
And now have two more to get done
I shall continue to make elves all year long
And have so many new things in store
for what a wonderful customer has named
The Elf Capades, so many have joined in
we now have a group on Facebook with them sharing
their Elves shenanigans, they always seem to be into something

What this weekend holds on the home front
Well hubby has brought help home with him
and I am feeling excited, he bought me a Heater
for my building today !!!
Yes they will start work on it, progress will be made
not sure how much, but I will be patient
maybe just maybe this long over due, postponed so many times
project will start taking form *So happy*
I may have a studio / guest room by spring time

Even bigger news
It's a Girl, that is right our grandchild that is due in February
is a girl, Name: will be Lilly Nicole
We shall see, Something tells me they will change that :o)
maybe not, no matter what her name, I am so THRILLED
*yes I have had more then one blessing today*
MANY blessings all in one day of a week that
I felt like I was just drowning here

While communicating with Randi, the shop owner
about her box I noticed she had posted photos
of items she had purchased
This collage includes some from last year and
this year, in her shop

sure makes me miss my own Store
Next year I have decided if I sell Wholesale
that all orders will have to be placed early enough before the
Christmas season that I can assure their arrival

thank goodness I never let boxes go anymore without tracking
of some sort, making it possible to know that boxes are just missing

Be sure as sellers to always do that! Only I did not cover this last
box with insurance, but I have learned a valuable lesson
at least it was a very small part of her large order :o)
In fact only one item and a few little ornaments
*big sigh of relief here*
Now as for the items I bought that are missing
*GRRRRR*
but I shall be nice cause
Santa Clause will be here soon *SMILE*
have a wonderful Weekend
*I am working on something new to add as a giveaway*
It will be on here in a couple of days
Brenda

  4. Oh Miss Brenda, you have to stop and take a deep breath.

Yes, GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD, it's just His timing, not ours.

We are praying that all your missing packages will be found, it's a very busy time of the year and with all the postal cutbacks I am sure carriers are stressed and overworked beyond their limits. Sad that they can't enjoy this wonderful season. What would we do without them?

    Heaps of December hugs,
    Prudence ♥

  7. Thought this would help you. Our pastor red it at bible study last Wednesday. I so needed it!!

    Isaiah 40:10~
    Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you,
    Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

  8. A gal after my own heart...sewing by the light of the winter moon! You are a dedicated artist Brenda. Customer service is a priority for you, it is clear. Yes, in our small town we have had missing mail to. Frustrating and sad. Love your elves - the tan one matches their cat, LOL. Yay on blessings, babies and THE HEATER FOR YOUR STUDIO! You know I can't wait to see it! Have a great day ~*~Lisa

  10. Such a busy post. I am tired for you! Our mail service has been less than spectacular for some time and I know it isn't the fault of our carrier. She is such a sweet gal. It has to be the sorters. I had recently won an auction and the package was terribly delayed. The gal finally remade what I had won and mailed. I got it in 3 days from making to my porch. The other package has never been found. Now, if I had won some antique piece, or something that I needed at a certain time? Well, it wouldn't have happened. I can definitely empathize with you.
A new baby! How exciting! And a precious little girl! They are such fun to spoil, dress up, put bows in their hair.... I/we have 14 grands and 2 great-grands. 11 girls and 5 boys. Not to brag but my kids do it right! the youngest is great-grand boy--Xander and he is 3 months old. Millie will be 2 in January. My birthday is in January and 2 of the grand girls also. January will be a big party! My Mother's ring is very full. I'm going to have to start a new one for greats! Babies are the best!
Better luck with your orders! God has blessed your family in so many ways. Don't let the little things ruin your high! Hugs to Rango and Shelby! <3

  12. I'm happy that you received answered prayer. Sometimes it is hard to wait but the Lord will always come through! He does love us! Congratulations on the news of a grand daughter. They are something special for sure. I understand your frustration with packages that should be arriving and those that should be delivered. I'm experiencing some of the same issues. Some of it is being blamed on the weather, but I'm not sure I'm buying that. Hang in there and have a wonderful new week.
