Well.............I am feeling a little better still not great but better
UNTIL!!!!!!
Hubby and I go to look at Christmas Trees
I had a real tree last year and wanted the same this year
only I don't want a huge fat one *sigh*
Well I was not going to pay 50.00 for a 4 foot potted tree
just to get the skinny affect!!
So I come home and go out to look for my artificial tree
No luck?? Where could it be?? No clue.........I can not remember what I did with it!!
I have not used it since we moved here??
But wait!!!!! Are you ready for this one????
All of my decorations were in a box
Yep girls...........one box, every since we had made our
move a few years back to Texas I have not had many decorations
Are you ready????
We can't find my decorations?
OH I am so unhappy, bad enough no tree but no decorations
all the ornaments I had left, the ones I had won, and gotten in swaps??
so tomorrow I will head back out and have another look
if they are gone, that is it!!!! I am moving right on into spring LOL!!!
I am so disappointed? I had that box last year?
Am hoping it is just stuck somewhere
If we threw it out with trash I am going to be broken hearted
We looked all over our small storage building and had no luck today
Hoping for some reason I may of stored it in the RV, doubtful
but I won't give up until I check
you know that feeling when you look and look for something
long and hard and realize it is gone, I have a funny feeling that is what
I am going to be comforted with tomorrow
I keep thinking I will just go find a corner it set and cry awhile
It has just been a crazy couple of weeks here!!
Ok enough pouting I need to get happy *smile*
Brenda
I sure hope it is just hidden and sometimes things are in plain site. We had that happen when we moved, my husband started throwing away boxes. He saw junk on top and assumed it all was, but he threw out my antique book collection, ugh.

Hope you find the box....know how that feels and its not good. They do make some skinny artificial trees. I think Target sells them and you can find them online too.
ReplyDeleteKeeping my fingers crossed that you find the box!I am so sorry that you have not been feeling well.Hugs,Jen
ReplyDeleteI hope you find it. We have 2 trees here not even being used and I donated most of my Christmas stuff and ornaments to the group home that my husband is in.
ReplyDeleteOh Dear Brenda~
ReplyDeleteI do hope you find your ornaments.
Hugs~Becky

ReplyDeleteBe blessed,
Cindi
Oh Brenda that is horrible..I hope it is just miss placed!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have good luck and find the box. Don't give up.
ReplyDeleteOh no! :( I do hope that you find your decorations. I would just be so up set so I understand how you feel.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't even unpacked from moving here in august cause the landlords still need to replace the carpet.
So of course we can't get Christmas stuff out yet either. :(
Again I do hope that you find everything. Good luck.
Take care, Janet W
Oh dear
ReplyDeleteI hope you do find it soon
Good luck x
Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteYou have had a rough time lately,
sure hope you start feeling better.
I am sure you will find your Christmas decorations. I have looked for things before and couldn't find it, and I know it drives me nuts.
And usually when I do find something that I have misplaced, then I rem. putting it there. Hope you find it today, hugs, Lecia
I do hope you find it. If you are like me you have some of your mothers decorations and special people that have come into your life have given you decorations as well. That would be very sad. I'm sure it is out there just hiding.
ReplyDeletehugs
Glad you are feeling a bit better too! I will be praying for those ornaments too. God is in the little things too. Those are special memories. I will pray for peace and rest for you!
ReplyDeleteI am going for the skinny tree too this year. The hard thing is to find a tree that is affordable. I wonder if you could get an inexpensive artificial fatty tree and trim branches to get a more narrowed effect? Sometimes the branches are just heavy wire!
Don't despair, friend! I agree with others. It could possibly be in plain sight. When we moved when I was young, my mom thought she had lost ours. She even went out and bought new, cheap ones. One day she was looking through stuff for something else, and there they were! And she had looked just as diligently as you!
Blessings and hugs, dear friend!
Heather
Awe...that is horrible. I know I would be so sad too. Well in my Catholic religion I pray to St.Anthony (he is the patron saint of lost articles )when I lose something important or special to me. I will pray today for you. God bless. M.j. :)
ReplyDeleteGood Sunday Morning Brenda. Wow, hope you got some sleep last night. Maybe dreamed where your missing tree and ornaments were. Girl, how could you go to bed wondering about where they were. That makes me have even more grey hairs to misplace something and can't find it. Hoping today will find you feeling better and putting up that misplaced tree. Happy December to you my friend. You definitiely need some Christmas Cheer ,,,, sending some your way.
ReplyDeleteAngela
Hope the box is just hiding and you find it today.
ReplyDeleteIf not, would be glad to send you some. I know it's not the same.
Be well, Janie
Oh no Brenda! I know it just makes you sick when you can't find something that means so much to you. Hopefully it will turn up when & where you least expect it. Until then I'm tossing some extra Christmas spirit your way.
ReplyDeleteBoo :( Hope you're able to find your treasures and 'turn that frown upside down'!!
