Ok so I am having a creators block here LOL
I can not get in the mood to do anything, I had my day planned out
And I am still on the computer this morning??
My Heart Aches for the folks in Joplin, just so sad and now they are
saying at the national weather service in Norman Oklahoma that there will be
a major outbreak today there will be large damaging tornado's
OH how I hope their predictions are wrong, they are telling everyone to heed
to the warnings and do not wait for a tornado siren to take shelter
that there will be a line of storms from south Kansas through out the state of Oklahoma and down into North Texas today. So I am prepared to take Shelby and go to the storm cellar should conditions get bad
Shelby still has not had her puppies? I am so past the point of being ready for that LOL
I moved my Uncle Sam to Ebay yesterday, gee I have not listed on there in forever
I have him started at an unreal low price I have got to sell some items so I can
go on a major shopping spree for supplies to prepare for fall and Christmas
Remember to keep everyone in your prayers today
Brenda
Good Morning, Brenda,
ReplyDeleteYour Uncle Sam is so cute...must be hours of sewing and stuffing there!
I hope the next batch of storms fizzle out, but good to know that you and Shelby are prepared.
Keep us posted. ~Natalie
My heart goes out to all those people in Joplin ~ so sad watching all the footage.
ReplyDeleteI get in those creative funks too.
Sales are slow on my end too.
Hope it picks up soon.
Please be safe my friend ~ keep us posted.
Will be praying!
Prim Blessings
Robin
Don't feel bad sometimes it's hard for me to get started creating things. Lately I've been working in the yard in between rain. We had horrendous storms here, fortunately no damage, but 3" of rain with a short period of time. My heart goes out to all the tornado victims.
ReplyDeleteI just saw that on the news, I prayer that the storms stay away. I get in those moods too, so I clean or do something else and then come back refreshed, sometimes we do craft non stop and it is good to take a break.

Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI so pray those who are already suffering from so much tragedy are spared anymore hardship and disaster , that the storms pass them over. We here in Ohio had several tornado warning last night , and more strong storms expected in the next two days , praying they fizzle ! I so love your uncle sam , o how I wish I was back to work , Id snatch him up in a heartbeat hes wonderful! Stay safe and dry . Hugs

Ps stop by my blog Im having a give away!
I think there's quite of bit of that "stuckness" going on as far as the craft mood goes....I know I'm there! Hope yours comes back speedily. Stay safe ~ And I pray the weatherfolk are wrong! Smiles ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to be creative when we are worried. It just seems we can't get away from it all of a sudden. I am also praying the weather forecasts are wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think that a lot of hearts are heavy today looking at the destruction brought on by all the wicked weather. It is sad ! Brenda please stay safe and I too am anxiously waiting on those babies .Bet you are on pins and needles. LOL! May we all be blessed with calmer days.Hugs,Jen
ReplyDeleteHang in there sweetie!I love your uncle sam and wish I could buy him as well. You will bounce back.stay safe and give shelby a hug for me.Big hugs to you as well michelle
ReplyDeleteI'm having the same creators block these last few days. My heart is heavy and my mind full thinking and praying for what seems like weeks on end of flooding and tornadoes across the country. We're having mudslides and rivers flooding from to much snow over the winter; then parts of the country are in dire straights for water! We must band together and continue to pray for better days ahead.
ReplyDeleteStay safe Brenda. You are in my prayers.
I think it happens to everyone, at one time or another. You stopped your creative activity to be productive in your personal life. It will take time to get back in the swing. Let Shelby have her family. Enjoy a few days. Really relax. These threats of storms don't help. You will be back in action soon. We all need a little time now and then to clear our heads and hearts.
ReplyDeleteLove Shelby up for me.
Take care, ★Linda★
I too have been feeling down for a few reasons...the recent disasters in our country and we also lost a 16 yr old boy in our town...was hit by 2 trains trying to beat the one train...he didn't see the amtrak coming at 70 miles/hr...his service is going on right now...300people in line outside of the church...I can't stop thinking about him and his family....

You aren't alone! I just think sometimes even though we enjoy this stuff, you can't ignore what others are dealing with. It's sometimes hard to be in the mood to decorate or craft all the time. Sometimes, you just have to take a step back and ask " Lord, what can I do?" There's always something we can do. I do feel awful for these folks.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, I hope you can sell some things.
Blessings,
Renee
No wonder you have creators block with all that sadness and devastation around you. I do hope you keep safe, and the predictions of more storms are wrong. Good luck, and I am sure that when things are back to normal you will get your muse back.
ReplyDeleteStay safe.
Hi Brenda:) Yes, I'm praying for Joplin folks and for you as I heard the wx forecast too. Stay safe hon and pet Shelby sweety too. She can probably sense your upset.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Uncle Sam!
Hugs~Carol
