Brenda,
ReplyDeleteIsn't sweet annie awesome! I keep telling the hubby to grow it so I can sell it. It's not like we don't have any room....6 acres to grow on! Geez, when will the man get with the program?
D
Oh sue I never can find it local I always buy it online and now I am going to buy it from Patti, LOL DEE get him on the ball. I love the stuff it is so great!!
ReplyDeleteHugs girls thank you for leaving comments.
Brenda
Oh, Brenda, you are so right! I would love to have several bundles, just to put in baskets around our home! I grew 6 plants from 200 seeds in a granite wash basin. I never got it transplanted because of all the rain. I was afraid it would drown out. Anyway, I got a very small bunch. That what was left after the wind snapped it off! I hope Dee does get her hubby to plant some! The seeds are cheap enough on line and they say it reseeds very well. I'm saving my dishpan of soil--just in case something should sprout next spring!
ReplyDeleteBTW~ I've never seen it growing wild. Does bittersweet grow wild where you are? Have you see the artificial? How does it compare to real?
Good luck on the giveaway!
★Linda★
wow Linda I don't know about the bittersweet I am in Oklahoma I will have to research that. I hope yours reseeds for you. I go through so much sweet annie I would have to have dozens of dish pans LOL......now wow wouldn't it be great to find sweet annie growing wild....it's a good thing nobody around me grows it....I would have to creep in their yard at night time to get a few sprigs LOL!!!!!! Not really I would ask first LOL

Hi, Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI don't think we can grow this in South Dakota...I have never seen it or experienced its scent. Do you think my cats would eat it if I had it in my house?!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. ~Natalie
HMMM Natalie I am not sure about cats eating it maybe someone can answer that one I love cats but can't have them in my home I have alergies to them bad!! It is an herb and has a wonderful scent to it. I have thought about researching to see if I could learn more about it.
