Pep Talk to my Self *more like Swift Kick and a lecture*

Good morning
*Grumble, grumble, grip, complain, kick myself*
Need I even go on LOL

Every year when summer hits I always say I am going to work work work on inventory because sells are slow
Let's face it folks are outdoors enjoying the heat and gardens etc.

Well every year I do not do what I intend to do and it takes a Strong Force to
get me moving and back in a creative mode

Pumpkin Noise Maker New for 2011 each year I make noise makers and always
design and make new styles for the year

Well here I am now working on Fall and Christmas/winter items
I can't decide which holiday I want to do LOL

And to top that off I am finishing up a Large order of
3 styles of pumpkins 12 each of them
6 Witches and 4 scarecrows
You may remember this witch from last year
Patti purchased this witch and sent this picture to me

And the scarecrows I sold so many of these last year
If you are interested in one of them let me know

There is a week left to get your name in
and just a little note here to see who is actually reading this post LOL

You will not want to miss The Rusty Thimble's Anniversary Giveaway in August
August marks some major milestones for me and it will be HUGE
Let me rewrite this LOL........I must not of had enough coffee. Leave a comment on this post for an 5 extra chances to win one of 5 HUGE great prizes I will be giving away in August, you will not regret it I am giving away
5 prizes to 5 winners to celebrate my blog birthday

Yet again why I should of been working on inventory
so I am lighting a fire and getting in gear for the season of sales
well ok maybe not a fire with the heat we have had lately

Have I been gardening or outdoors NO
But look we had a cool front *For sure can't be called a cold front LOL*
move through last night

102 sure looks better then 104, temps reached up to 109 in some areas in
Oklahoma yesterday and OH are those 90's I see at the end of the week?
LOL On the rain chances I would go outside and dance if it would rain here!!
It has been so dry and so HOT for so long, the evening 70's do look great though

Our Electric and Water bill should be extremely HIGH for this month UGH!!

but I am not complaining *well maybe a little* I love summer and I always dread
cold weather!!!! I could live where it stays in the high 70's year round LOL

Ok I am rambling here need to finish my coffee and get back to work
Have a great day
Brenda

  2. I hope it cools off a bit for you Brenda. Maybe that would help your creative mood. Hate to tell you it's a lovely 57 this morning, windows are open and the sun is trying to come out from behind the clouds that are lingering. Hubs went to cut our first load of firewood today.
Congrats on your upcoming blog event. I'd love to be entered in your give away.
Hope you have a wonderful day~

  3. Oh my goodness Brenda!! I thought it was HOT here, but I have to say you've got me beat. I have no motivation to work on projects this year & I don't know why. I can't blame it on Summer because I'm not a fan of the heat & humidity. I've been indoors most days, but am so tired after working that I don't do anything but play on the computer. Hehe!! I would love 5 bonus chances to win your lovely witch. She's fabulous.

    Enjoy your day~Becky

LOL - you seem to churn wonderful creations out left & right - a down day of sewing for you would be a day I could only dream of! It has also been the summer of raising fur babies. In the heat. 23. Hi Brenda!

You must be running around naked and cooking up eggs on your sidewalk with those temps!
And do know that even if I don't comment, I read each and every post faithfully!
