Where I have been & What I have been doing

Well as the Clock on 2010 is winding down I want to take this time to wish you all
A Happy New Year
Gee this year has just sped right on by and what a great year it has been
Outside of the Fact that I sit here SICK for the third time since November!! I am tired of being sick, but this year has been packed full of that!
Now I could do a year in review but that would be a long Post!
I could tell you I have resolutions or as some call them goals but I am only making business plans, as far as everyday goals in life.......All I ever set out to do is to be the best person I can be and to be happy with what ever life throws my way

So that is where I have been: sitting at this computer and outside of feeling Rotten with this head cold I have, I have enjoyed the down time and reading everyone's blogs
*Not leaving many comments granted because it is taking everything I have just to post*

I have been looking at Patterns and getting my thoughts together on new projects to make. A few years back I used to make my own Annie Designs and I do believe I will be making some more of those gals
I am jumping into a new gear this year and not only will I offer primitive items
I am going to be making Shabby Chic things as well
Oh the creative juices are flowing and Here I sit thinking I am in a slump
Just a Head Cold Slump is all it is!!!!

I am so ready for spring, and feel for those of you that are affected by the horrific winter weather you have experienced!
It is suppose to be in the High 60's here in Oklahoma today but there is this front coming from the NORTH
(Can't you all just go outside and blow it a different direction LOL)
our temps are suppose to take a turn for the worse with COLD coming our way!
YUCK and that is all I have to say about that!!

I am ready to get outside and do some landscaping that I do have planned out

I am ready to feel well so I can get up and rearrange some things in my home and do  the decorating I have put off for so long

I am ready to spend some warm evenings down at the waters edge and watch some beautiful sunsets!

and to catch some fish to fill the freezer we are getting soon

I am ready to see flowers bloom again

Ok so I guess these could be considered resolutions
But hey I do this stuff every year LOL

I for one am looking forward to the New Year because that does mean things will
Turn GREEN again LOL.........I Dislike Winter so bad!!!
I do have some bunnies started and some chicks and other spring things
I will be doing some business changes and will be back to update you on all of those!
WISHING you all a VERY HAPPY new Year!!!
Oh and by the way I will be posting my first Giveaway soon for 2011!!!

Brenda

  1. Wish you were feeling better! And oh... I didn't see plans to travel to Cape Cod to visit me this summer!!!!Remember.....beach, spa, my new studio to craft in????.....I don't mind the winter.....I like to hibernate and take things at a slower pace......I hope to use the winter thyme to re-do some pieces and paint some things for the Cape! Crank up that sewing machine....as I'll need a whole new set of goodies to bring to the Cape.........!!!!!
    Hugs,

  2. I hope you get over your sickness, soon....I know it isn't fun to be sick, I hate it, too! Well, I can't say I got a home on the cape for Christmas, but I plan on painting and sewing and hopefully selling things this year. Maybe we can get together, some time. Take care of yourself and "Happy New Year" to you, too! I am hoping to paint some things outside, today.

  5. Dear Brenda, hope you are feeling better soon dear friend! Happy New Year to you and yours as well and thanks again for your wonderful generosity throughout 2010. I can't wait to see what you will come up with in 2011! Isn't it funny how our thoughts immediately turn to Spring as soon as Christmas is over, even though winter has just officially started! Keep thinking green and hope it doesn't get too cold in your neck of the woods, Deb

  10. Bet feeling better soon, Brenda!

Look forward to the New Year, but don't forget to enjoy "now"... Sometimes being holed up and waiting for the spring weather allows us to reflect and rest.

    Be well.

We've been fortunate in OK with no snow yet, huh? It's been all around us but looks like it's finally coming our way soon! Stay safe and warm my friend!
