While Blog Hopping I found something I want to do

Ok since I found myself Blog Hopping this morning......trying to get ideas for my house of ways that I can buy used items and give them a new life or purpose, I ran across someone that had shared this
It is made from a BED!! I know I should be looking for things to use inside but oh when we get out deck done I would love to have one of these benches. Just not in Pink maybe a Shabby Primmed up Cream color?? I just love it there is actually a tut on
In His Grip on how to take a Bed and make one of these benches from it just click
I think it would look so nice with a cushion and a couple of small throw pillows on it.
Just wanted to share I am off to find more ideas, Yes I have been sewing but thought my machine could use a small break
Do not forget today is the last day to sign up for my giveaway click on the top picture
in the Right hand sidebar or go down to the next post to find the link.
Good luck
Brenda

  2. Hey, this could go outdoors and indoors. Maybe you'll just have to make two of them. LOL

  5. Saw this bench done years ago on Carol Duval (HGTV)I actually printed out the directions for making it. Found some great bed parts at the Salvation Army store, but never got around to making it! :( Think I might put it back on my "to do" list!

  10. Oh, how exciting to find my bench on your blog. When I made this and then posted it on my blog I had no idea the stir that it would cause. I love it as well and it now sits on my front proch for everyone to love too. Thanks for featuring "In His Grip".
